Stainless steel nails are corrosion-resistant fasteners for exterior, marine and treated-timber applications. Kin Metal manufactures stainless steel nails in 201, 304 and 316 grades, 10-250 mm lengths and 1.0-5.6 mm diameters, in common, roofing, screw, lost head and ring shank styles.
When to Use Stainless Steel Nails
Stainless nails are specified where rust would stain or weaken the joint: coastal construction, boat building, decking, fencing, greenhouses, kitchens and bathrooms. Grade 304 is the general-purpose marine-grade option; grade 316 adds molybdenum for higher chloride resistance in saltwater and harsh chemical environments.
Grades and Certification
We supply stainless nails with material certificates on request, and can provide EN 14592 or ASTM F1667 aligned products for European and North American projects. Finishes include bright, and all common head and shank styles are available.
