Applications and Selection

The deformed shank increases withdrawal resistance in wood. Ring-shank nails are often selected for consistent holding in pallets and timber products, while twisted shanks provide grip for structural and packaging applications. Choose the diameter and length according to timber density, penetration depth and joint load. For humid or outdoor use, specify a galvanized finish after confirming the required corrosion resistance.
